The committee
The Glenlivet Public Hall committee, together with the trustees are responsible
for the day to day running of the hall. The committee consists of representatives
of the clubs as well as some ordinary members. The chair is Eleanor Mackintosh
and Rita Marks is the secretary.

Bookings
The hall and the bar are available for hire for public events and private
functions. Standard charge for hiring the main hall (including the bar area if
required) is £50 per half day or night plus the cost of electricity. Electricity
is charged at 10 pence per kwh and is mainly used for heating. The cost of
hiring the bar area only is £10 (plus electricity).
If the licensed bar is used at a function the charge for the main hall is £25
and the bar area can be used free of charge. Please note that due to licence
legislation we cannot allow people to provide their own drinks when the bar is
open. The supply of alcoholic beverages by third parties is not allowed either.
There is a 50% discount available for registered charities, funerals, schools,
children’s parties (up to 10pm), but electricity charges apply.

at the weekends, and in summertime daily with the exception of two weeks when
the army are using the hall and the whole of August when Tea IN THE PARK is on.
Part of the grounds behind the hall is registered as a certified location with the
